tasmãt parataram nãsti neti netiti vai srutih

karma'ã vacasã caiva sarvadãrãdhayed gurum

42-The Vedas declare "not this, not this" , and also speak of something that, beyond which there is nothing. That principle is the guru; thus one should woeship him with mind, speech, and action. 

42-Os Vedas declaram "não isto, não isto", e também falam de algo que, além do qual não há nada. Esse princípio é o guru; assim, devemos ampará-lo com mente, fala e ação.
