srutisãramidam devi sarvamuktam samãsatah

nãyathã sadgatih pumsãm vinã gurupadam sive 

320. O Devi, O Auspicious One (Shive)! This is the essence of all Vedas; therefore, I have narrated to you all there is to be told. Thus, the wise understand, there is no other path for the attainment of liberation than devotion at the feet of the feet of the guru preceptor.

320. Ó Devi, ó Auspicioso (Shive)! Esta é a essência de todos os Vedas; portanto, narrei a você tudo o que há para ser contado. Assim, os sábios entendem, não há outro caminho para a obtenção da liberação além da devoção aos pés do guru preceptor.

gurutattvavihinascet tatsarvam vyarthameva hi

192.One may be engrossed in the worshi of Lord Shiva, or immersed in worship Lord Vishnu, but without knowing the principles of the guru, all such learning is of no use.

192. Alguém pode estar absorto na adoração do Senhor Shiva, ou imerso na adoração do Senhor Vishnu, mas sem conhecer os princípios do guru, todo esse aprendizado é inútil.

191. O My Beloved! Even by studying the Vedas, the six limbs of the Vedas, Tantra and all existing spiritual scriptures, one cannott attain knowledge without a guru preceptor.

191. Ó Meu Amado! Mesmo estudando os Vedas, os seis membros dos Vedas, o Tantra e todas as escrituras espirituais existentes, não se pode obter conhecimento sem um guru preceptor.

cãrvãkavaisnavamate sukam prãbhãkare na hi

guroh pãdãntike yadvatsukham vedãntasammatam

176.There is no real happiness in the philosophy of charvakas ( atheists), the vaishnavas ( the worshippers of Lord Vishnu), nor even in the teachings of prabhakar ( follovers of the Mimansa philosophy) The  happiness present at the feet of the guro preceptor( living in his close proximity) cannot be found elsewhere- such truth is confirmed in Vedanta.

176.Não há felicidade real na filosofia dos charvakas (ateus), dos vaishnavas (os adoradores do Senhor Vishnu), nem mesmo nos ensinamentos de prabhakar (seguidores da filosofia Mimansa). A felicidade presente aos pés do guro preceptor (que vive próximo dele) não pode ser encontrada em nenhum outro lugar - tal verdade é confirmada no Vedanta.

175.There is no happiness in the study of the vedas and scriptures. There is no happiness in mantras and yantras. There i no true happiness in anything in the world, apart from the happiness arising out of the guru preceptor's grace.

175.Não há felicidade no estudo dos Vedas e das escrituras. Não há felicidade em mantras e yantras. Não há felicidade verdadeira em nada no mundo, exceto na felicidade que surge da graça do guru preceptor.

151.O Devi! This two syllabe word gu-ru is the king of all mantras. it is the essence of the Vedas, the law books, and the Puranas.

151.Ó Devi! Esta palavra de duas sílabas gu-ru é o rei de todos os mantras. é a essência dos Vedas, dos livros da lei e dos Puranas.

yasmãtparataram nãsti neti netiti srutih

manasã vacasã caiva satyamãdhayedgurum

102. the vedas declare, " not   this , not  this" and also speak something that existe- beyond which, there is nothing. That principle is known as the "guru", and one should worship him whith mind, speech, and action.

 102. os Vedas declaram: "isso não , isso não" e também falam algo que existe - além do qual não há nada. Esse princípio é conhecido como o “guru”, e deve-se adorá-lo com mente, fala e ação.
